Description
- Always perform an allergy test at least 48 hours in advance. Brow Henna is based on natural henna. But some people are allergic to the added PPD.
- Clean the eyebrows well and free of grease with Mrs Highbrow Skin Prep Lotion. The cleaner the skin, the better the henna can do its job. Then dry the skin very well. Tip: ask your client in advance to exfoliate his or her brows at home. Fewer dead skin cells also means that the brow will hold henna better and last longer.
- Mix Mrs Highbrow Brow Henna with warm to hot water: 1 scoop henna with 12-15 drops of water. There is a pipette in each box.
- Let the paste stand for 10 minutes, so that it can develop into a nice brown shade.
- Apply the henna paste gradually and create super clean lines. If you do get a little out of control, you don’t have to worry. You can remove these irregularities with Mrs Highbrow Tint Remover . And if you could use some help creating the tightest lines, be sure to use Brow Mapping Thread .
- Leave the henna on for at least 15 minutes for the most long-lasting result. To create a smooth ombre effect, remove the roots of the henna after 5 minutes.
- Remove the brow henna from the eyebrows with a damp cotton ball. This is easy, because the henna from Mrs Highbrow does not become very hard.

We recommend to patch test at least 48 hours before treatment and to do so by applying mixed henna to the skin.
Mrs Highbrow Brow Henna is made of the finest Indian henna. Some pigments have been added to give the henna powder its beautiful brown colours and to make the henna stain the skin for a longer time. One of the ingredients is p-phenylenediamine which can cause skin ailments even in very low quantities. That is the reason why you should always perform a patch test on customers who are having henna brows for the first time. Especially if you are going to use Ash Brown or Raven. For the test, you should always use one of these shades, even when you want to use a light colour for the treatment.
Delivery
All products are sent from ourselves and not a third party, using our authorised courier/ postal service . We check all orders before despatch to ensure your order arrives as specified and in perfect condition.
Returns
You have 14 days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a refund your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it and in the original packaging. You should notify us of your intent to return an item and provide your Order Number reference.
If unwanted item returns arrive in poor or unsaleable condition, a refund will not be possible. You are solely responsible for ensuring that the items in question are returned to us. We will not be liable for returns that are lost in the post or lost for any other reason.
If you receive a faulty or damaged item, we will advise how to return it to us and we will refund the return postage cost. Replacements and / or refunds will only be dispatched / issued on receipt of the returned items.
Refunds
Refunds will only be processed up to 14 days from the sales invoice date. Refunds will be processed within 7 days of product arriving back with us. Payment will be made the same way the product was paid for (PayPal, Bank Transfer or Card payment). No refunds will be issued after 30 days of the sale invoice date.
